Awlgrip® HDT (High Definition Technology) is a revolutionary high gloss topcoat which is VOC compliant and gives a hard, yet repairable, finish.

This high performance polyurethane topcoat system offers exceptional gloss and color retention as well as a hard finish with improved micro-scratch resistance.

This unique combination of features makes Awlgrip HDT Clearcoat, in combination with an Awlcraft SE basecoat, an exciting addition to Awlgrip’s product range.

A New Kind of Clearcoat

Awlgrip has created a new standard in durable topcoats designed to enhance the full range of colors and finishes of the Awlcraft® SE basecoat.

This polyurethane clearcoat provides a mirror-like finish, so you can have the best of both quality and consistency.

It is perfect for applicators with the capability to apply a hard topcoat but who want flexibility and repairability as well.

And also for applicators currently applying a soft coating but who want a harder, more scratch-resistant alternative.

Awlgrip® HDT Clearcoat is designed to provide gloss, protection, and color-retention as the final layer of a multi-part system using Awlcraft® SE as a basecoat.

The Awlcraft® SE basecoat imparts the color and effect and is then topcoated with Awlgrip® HDT Clearcoat to give gloss and protection.

This combination forms a high performance, high gloss, and robust topcoat system.

C0300 Clearcoat Base (Gal)

OC0010 Curing Solution (Gal)

Choice of Activator: OA0010 (Slow), OA0015 (Medium), OA0020 (Fast) (Quarts)

Mix Ratio by volume: 1 : 1 : 0.25 (Base : Curing Solution : Activator)
