Max Cor CF 2-Part High Build Metal Primer – Base

Max Cor CF is a two component, high solids, anti-corrosive, epoxy primer for aluminum and steel. It has excellent chemical and solvent resistance.

Max Cor CF is based on Controlled Fusion (CF) technology, a unique chromate-free chemical system that allows extended time before overcoating, eliminates the need for sanding prior to applying the next coat and also gives excellent substrate adhesion.

CF technology eliminates the requirement for high hazard chemicals and ensures a tightly fused intercoat layer between the CF-based coating and the next applied coat.

For above the waterline only.

• Contains active anti-corrosive pigments which help prevent corrosion creep and therefore extends the life of the paint system

• Great adhesion to aluminum and steel

• Apply to solvent cleaned bare metal (use Awlprep [T0008] or Awlprep Plus [T0115])

• Mix ratio: Mix by volume 2 parts R4330 with 1 part R3330. Ensure R4330 is uniformly dispersed before addition of R3330. Mix until a smooth homogenous mixture is obtained; do not thin or reduce

• Apply a single coat by spray only

• Theoretical coverage is 1,075 sq ft/gal

• Overcoat with Hullgard Extra (recommended) or High Build primers

• Overcoating with Hullgard Extra will provide a 6 month window for applying a topcoat without the need for sanding, High Build must be overcoated within 24 hours
