CTM Marine
CTM is the line we sell and install most. The CT series of self contained units runs from 6,000 to 25,000 BTU in 115V and 230V, and the EV series covers evaporators from 6,000 to 24,000 BTU for split systems. The build is aimed squarely at salt water: titanium condenser coils, stainless steel structural pan, ABS insulated tray and stainless hardware. Every CTM unit carries a three year warranty when registered, and the current CT units ship with the Elite II control and an eight pin cable included.
The reason CTM matters on a refit is the universal control board. It is built to work with the controller already on the boat, including Dometic, Cruisair, Marine Air and Micro Air thermostats, so a replacement does not turn into rewiring the whole control run.
Dometic
Dometic is the name most owners already know, and we now stock it. The GT series of self contained units covers 6,000, 10,000 and 16,000 BTU with digital control, in both 115V and 230V. If your boat came from the yard with Dometic and you would rather keep the same brand through a refit, that is now a straight conversation with us instead of a special order somewhere else.

Replacing a Dometic, Cruisair, Marine Air or Webasto Unit
A large share of the boats we see in Broward are on their second or third A/C system, and the old unit is rarely still made. The CT series was designed as a drop in replacement for exactly that situation. A CT-12, as one example, substitutes the Dometic DTG12 and DTU12, the Cruisair STQ12 and STX12, the Marine Air VTD12K, the Flagship FM12 and the Webasto FCF 12,000 BTU units.
Three details decide whether a swap is quick or turns into a project, and we check all three before quoting: the water connections, which on the CT units are a standard 5/8 inch; the ducting ring, which is five inches on the CT against six on some Dometic units and is handled with a clamp; and the control, which the universal board usually keeps as is.
