The Next Gen 5.5 kW Diesel Generator is the lightest, most compact, and efficient 1800 RPM 5.5 kW diesel marine generator available.

Traditional 1800 RPM generators are often too large and heavy to fit in many small to medium-sized vessels where space is at a premium.

Thanks to its patented design, Next Generation marine generators don’t have to resort to the current trend of high speed 3,600 rpm operation used on smaller gen sets. Running at 1800 RPM ensures quieter performance, more efficiency and a longer lifespan than 3600 RPM generators.

The Next Gen 5.5 uses a Kubota diesel engine, same as used in Cummins Onan and Phasor marine generators. An added sound shield ensures even quieter operation.

Next Gen generators are manufactured in Jacksonville, FL, USA.
